Free Block Frenzy
Free Block Frenzy is a demonstration style class – there are no hands on sessions, all homework gets done at home!
A different block will be demonstrated each meeting and over the course of the year you will see 6 different Seminole patterns demonstrated. At the first demonstration there is a $10 joining fee and you will receive your kit to make the first block.
Thereafter at each meeting you have the opportunity to receive the demonstrated block for FREE provided that BOTH the following conditions are met:
- You must make and present the previous class block AND
- You must be present at the demonstration to receive your free kit.
These rules are strictly adhered to. If you cannot meet these requirements then a penalty fee of $5 applies to receive your next block.
Additional Kit
At each demonstration you will also have the option to purchase an additional kit. The additional kit will contain the same fabric (style & quantity) as your free kit – this gives you more fabric to make your Seminole strip longer.
Each kit will also contain an additional Seminole pattern for you to try. A sample of the pattern you receive will also be shown at each demonstration.
This Year’s Theme
This year we have specifically purchased Australiana/Aboriginal style fabrics to complete Free Block. These are also available for purchase if you wish to make your blocks bigger.
