Thank you to Margaret (from Victoria) who found us while on her travels in sunny Queensland.  After learning we were on FaceBook, she became a ‘Fan’ and took the time to provide us some fantastic feedback after her experience in our store, these are her words posted directly onto our FaceBook page…

“This has got to be the most amazing place to stop, shop and learn, nothing is too much trouble for these amazing women!! It must be great to live locally and be able to call in regularly. I can’t sing your praises highly enough, the help you gave me when I was only visiting your corner of the world is priceless -Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou!!!”

Sandra remembers helping Margaret with choosing some fabric to finish off a quilt, and was most impressed when Margaret bought it back in a couple of days later to show off the finish product – which we believe was done while her husband was fishing!

Thanks again Margaret, we hope to see you again if your travels lead you this way in the future!

Show off Your Heritage of Quilting
This year’s Quilt Trail theme is The Heritage of Quilting and we thought that this would be a great opportunity for all of us to show our own quilting heritage.  We would love to see your first ever quilt!  Share them with us, and we’ll hang them in the shop during quilt trail in April!

Please let us know if you would like to come on one of our organised bus tours – visiting 4 of the other eight shops in one day.  Dates TBA.

The 2 Sneak Peek session are both now full…But even more of you are looking to squeeze into a place.  In response to this we have added a third session to the day.  We are now running a Thursday Evening Session that will run on the same day, 28th January, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm!  These are absolutely the last places that we have left now, so please book to avoid disappointment.  Speaking of disappointment, if you are interested in a class, but haven’t booked yet, get in now so that you won’t miss your place!

Response to our SNEAK PEEK MORNING (28th January)has been so HUGE that we have had to change it to a SNEAK PEEK DAY and we need your help!

In the 2 short weeks since we listed our Classes, we have had so many bookings for our Sneak Peek Morning that we can’t fit any more in.

To prevent people missing out on a place, and to make the day more comfortable for those who have already booked, we have decided to run 2 Sessions on the day – one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

The original session will remain 9.30am to 11.30am and we have added a new session in the afternoon: 1.30pm to 3.30pm.

To make seating more relaxed, we are looking for volunteers to move to from the morning to the afternoon.  If you have already booked for the morning and can help us with this, please give us a call or send us a quick Email.

Thank you to everyone who has booked so quickly.  We appreciate your enthusiasm….

The Caboolture Sewing Machines and Patchwork Team!

While some of you have been relaxing over the December and January holiday period, we have been working extra hard on our First Term Class list which has just recently been released (didn’t catch it yet?  Click here).  It is crammed with lots of variety and a big cross-section of skill levels from very beginner patch-workers through to advanced embroiderers.  We have also introduced Tuesday night classes to help those of you who work during the day all week, as well as fitting more into Thursday nights, and Saturdays.  To fully showcase the great range of projects that we will be teaching in term one, we will be having a “Sneak Peek” on Thursday 28th January.  This will not only give you the opportunity to see samples of the classes first hand, but it will also give us the opportunity to explain the finer details of our new list.  Call us to book your place at this fun morning, or pop into the store!

NEWS FLASH….DON’T WAIT UNTIL SNEAK PEEK TO BOOK INTO YOUR FAVOURITE CLASSES!  PLACES ARE FILLING FAST!  BOOK FOR THE CLASSES THAT YOU ARE INTERESTED IN NOW!!!
